The TOS streams on Netflix are remastered HD with redone FX which are pretty well done.  I was afraid it was going to be irritating in a George Lucas way, but it's not.  The standing ship sets look pretty good too, considering (although its funny how obviously fake the turbolifts are) but HD does some of the other…

"All Good Things.." is undeniably great, and certainly the best Star Trek finale by far.  But the best of any series ever? I nominate "The Shield."

Time was I would have said TNG.  I grew up on TOS but hadn't really watched it since I was in my early teens and TNG premiered.  Ever since Netflix started streaming the old series I started rewatching it and I have been really surprised, when it is at its best, how really good it was.  Now I'd say it's a push.
