I 100% agree that the NFL and NBA should be required to start actual minor leagues or have their anti-trust exemptions revoked. That we have high school graduates who are adults who have supremely valuable skills who are not allowed to earn a living wage with those skills because of a cabal between the big leagues…

Indeed, let them create a real minor league system like baseball and hockey, let them draft players out of high school, and pay them a living wage. Then the NBA can keep those players in the minors until they learn things such as floor spacing and moving without the ball.

On the other hand, the 1 and done rule means that young men with INSANELY valuable skills only have to stay out of the market (because of greed and implicit collusion on the part of the NBA and NCAA) for one year rather than four. It may hurt basketball, but while it's still immoral, it's only 25% as evil as it was.

It's too bad there isn't some sort of device that could record television programs that air at a given time so you could watch them at some other time. Someone should get on that.
