Not really, though, he shot the floor multiple times in different spots as soon as he realized someone was down there (I can't remember if he knew it was Raven or not, specifically). There was no way he wasn't trying to hit the person (or people) down there with the bullets.

You know it's an amazing show when you so desperately want something to happen (the knife being used on Finn instead so that he'd get a more humane end), are completely convinced that the show would never go there and that you're out of your mind to be thinking it, AND THEN THE SHOW GOES THERE.

The fact that you think diversity is "forced" betrays you.

"cant we just be glad to have good characters? Period?"

Maybe this is addressed in a later episode, and I don't know why I'm bringing this up now, but we're sure that the Exodus ship (the one that the ex-chancellor took) crashed because of the Mountain Men, right? The noise that threw off their navigation systems and caused the crash was heard by Monty right before he was

I can't wait to see what they're doing with Finn's character. I'm all for making him more interesting.

HA, I just watched episode 2 and I was like, "THAT PERSON ON THE AV CLUB WAS RIGHT, I BET EVERYONE GIVES THEM SO MANY PROPS IN THE THREAD FOR EPISODE 2," only to discover that your comments are all behind the reviews, so no one's there to give you props. Except for me.

Thank you so much for doing coverage of this show, I hope you plan to continue next season!

I'm biased because I saw the movie first and adored it, but when I read the book, I was severely disappointed. To me, it's one of the cases where the movie is superior to the book.

Absolutely not. Especially in games with random encounters, having to trudge across the world map becomes a huge pain after a while. Games like Phantasy Star IV and Legend of Legaia (oldies but goodies) that let you instantly travel between cities are the best, whether you earn that skill later in the game or have

Upvote for not liking Happy Endings because of the characters. I watched it for a season and a half and was so done with it at that point because the characters grated on me so much.

Oh my gosh, that's exactly why I liked the "Ew" sketch. I sent it to my sister asking, "Why can't I stop laughing at this?!" and then added, "Maybe because it reminds me of the 'Whateverrr' sketches from All That…"

Just FYI, Craig Bartlett (creator of Hey Arnold!)'s response to this article on Facebook was, "Deep stuff! So nice to see this ep appreciated."

Yeah, I thought it was weird that the episode had such a high rating.  Definitely my least favorite of the show so far.  I'm probably going to buy this season on DVD no matter how the rest of the season goes (I've absolutely loved the show up until this point), but I don't think I'll ever rewatch this episode.

I completely agree.  I can maybe deal with the loss of Shauna (she might not have been comedic gold, but I really liked her), but the reintroduction of Beverly is a MISERABLE idea.  I hated her in the second episode and that was even when I knew she'd be a one-off character.  I'm so, so unhappy with this move, and I'm

I can't believe that no one's mentioned Nick's FANTASTIC delivery of the line, "Don't share stuff," during their discussion of the Constitution.
