From what i can tell, this is the third John Oliver interview by the AV Club. The Bugle was mentioned in none of them, not even in the introduction.

Right.
Right.
Basically the same thing, yes. Most people don't read (or even scan) the entire comments section each week. I certainly don't. I figured that the benefit to people who might find this of interest was greater than the annoyance to people who had seen it last week, recognized it, and instantly skipped over it.

@avclub-85ffb08f91a83b6566467b942828a560:disqus, Gatlin's BBQ in the NW corner of the Heights is the best BBQ i've ever had. I don't normally care for ribs, but, sweet Moses, theirs is transcendent. My understanding is that their sauce is great, too, but the ribs are so juicy and tender that it's not needed at all.

I think our contact left and they canceled the deal so we had to spend several thousand dollars to hold it at Humble HS. Their Special Olympics donation was the only thing positive…

Dallas at least gets more music and comedy acts that Houston does not. Of course, Austin gets even more.

I used to ref basketball games throughout HISD, i've been in a couple of Lamar's classrooms/locker room, and know several Lamar grads (classes of '97, '98, and later). @avclub-dbb6b4e727f400075c39bd45209c5b1c:disqus is absolutely correct that there are much, much more "ghetto" public schools in Houston than Lamar and…

Holy crap, Kyle interviewed Mike Maggart, who's a friend/acquaintance of mine…mostly from us both being passionate supporters of Houston's Planned Parenthood.
