Fuck Pixar. That's really as much eloquence as I have interest in mustering up for their continued ill treatment of directors that don't fall into their blander than bland status quo.

"Rubicon" is still the best thing they ever did.
He became a cop, according to "More American Graffiti", I think.
Agree, mostly. But I can't help but be a little disappointed that it takes the show so long to get to the "Will admits that the press was unfair to OWS" bit, especially after it spent the past two or three episodes mocking them, already. It especially doesn't help that we'd already seen Will softball interviewees who…
I would've liked to have seen a non-white Doctor. I'd still like to see a non-white Doctor. For some reason now I'm kinda doubting we ever will.
Did nobody mention "Saga"? The hiatus ends in a couple of weeks, I think.
To be fair, actors like Tom Baker have routinely refered to their role as "Doctor Who". During his era he was even listed in the end credits as "Doctor Who". And in the Davison era they played that up by decorating his cricket outfit with little question marks, so it is kinda part of his identity. Meh.
And then they run into the Borg, or something.
Am I the only one who's a little perturbed by the fact that much of Lecter's dialogue cribs word-for-word excerpts from "Red Dragon"? What happens when (or if) they get to the events of that novel? Lecter's speech about how killing feels good to God was a central part of Graham's realization of the Tooth Fairy's modus…
Why couldn't it have been Peter Fonda, instead?
I honestly find that "ice queen and trench coat mafia kid" romance a lot easier to sympathize with and relate to than the outdated Hollywood screwball style of a spoiled brat and a typical alpha male cowboy type arguing which one of them is more in love with the other. I'm not sure I even find them terribly…
I'll take Anakin/Padme over Han/Leia. If only because Padme never has to say anything as stupid as "laser brain", and even awkwardly talking about sand makes for better dialogue than "who's scruffy lookin'?".
Hear hear, Bipolar Man. I frankly think TPM has the best visuals out of all six SW films. ESB comes close with Suschitsky's cinematography, but even there it's a little too high-gloss, a little too classic Hollywood.
TCW was popular enough in the ratings. What it could've used was coverage and support from more online writers, if only to counter the pervailing Gen X attitudes of everything in "Star Wars" other than ANH and ESB sucking. TCW and the Prequel era in general has been popular with younger fans, but largely gets ignored…
Damn, that's a shame. Well, at least the show was given a fair chance and supported with regular weekly reviews in the AV Club.
Why not have the Doctor and Rose forever? I hated Rose, myself. Annoying personality and not particularly pretty, to boot. Couldn't wait for her to exit the program. Catherine Tate I liked just as little. The only one of Tennant's companions I liked at all was Martha Jones, and even I think she got more interesting…

That's exactly how I feel about "The Wire", too. Actually, it's even worse. At least "Treme" has music that's kinda okay.

And the crowd goes "who gives a fuck"?
