Here comes my weekly "How the hell are we as an audience meant to understand the religion in this society?" gripe.

I knew it would be especially limp when it started with an apology and worrying about somebody out there getting offended by the choice. This feature really doesn't work unless it's unapologetic.

Yeah, this "one step forward, two steps back" shit is really grating now. Not to mention that the whole nation-building in an unwinnable quagmire thing was boring to start with.

Does anyone else find it weird how petulant and whiny Bran is around the tree guy?
I mean, this guy is 1000 years old, and can apparently show you the past from any part of the world. He's also, I guess, confirmation of the powers of the "old Gods"?
Get a grip kid. Your life isn't that bad.

I'm going to report this to me member of parliament!

For me, the biggest recurring negative has been for a while now the show's treatment of religion. I confess, it might just be that I don't understand it well enough. Maybe I missed something?

"Even Ted Cruz's wife finds him awkward and forgettable."

I'm surprised the "Whiz Quiz 2018" sketch is getting any love here. And so much that we want to see it come back?

The most irritating thing about Trump is that now all political realism in TV is cast aside because "Look at Trump in the real world, though!"

Also, the very existence of "Fuller House".

I love the political maneuvering myself, but all of the little things that get Frank and Claire to the top have eroded the foundation of his presidency.

Policy failings aside, in the world of the show, FU's administration being a dark, bottomless pit of corruption is the worst kept secret in America.

But didn't they only get the revelation to start "being the terror" after the whole hostage thing started? So at what point are you suggesting they actively started to stage it?

Agreed. And, really, for the integrity of the show, they need to lose the election. Can they fill a full season with just a couple months of time passing, though?

Never underestimate the public's appetite for nostalgia.

Agreed. Total narrative cheat. Durant has proven herself to be competent, strong, and upright. A more likely exchange might have been:

Can we all just take a moment and have a good, hearty laugh at Claire's speech to end all speeches? What trite, hackneyed writing.

Words cannot describe how much I hated that scene, and really the entire concept of the joint ticket actually working out. It's not even the glaring lack of realism. It's not how ridiculously tone deaf the writers are when it comes to politics.

"Can I just give her cash?"

Also, was it really necessary to bring back Sudekis to do his "Generic Middle-Aged White Guy" impression? That's basically just his own voice and mannerisms?
