But wasn't it odd to watch an episode without… you know… Magnitude?

You're out of the band.

I like Jimmy Fallon, and actually think his time at Late Night was surprisingly good, but it kind of bothers me that after that entire debacle, he's the one that emerges from the rubble to take the throne.

Kimye was surprisingly old and worn-out on just its second run. Too bad, because I really enjoyed it the first time around.

He really has that authoritative newscaster vibe about him. I wonder if the plan is to go back to a duo on WU. Cecily has grown into the role, but I don't think she's strong enough to anchor it herself, particularly in the interactions with the special guests.

Needs more sepia tone!

A C+ is pretty harsh for what might be the best episode of the season so far. B+ from me.

I thought the sound mixing was, as usual, terrible for both of the Fallon/Timberlake musical numbers. I could hardly understand any of the words they were rapping or singing.

Don't forget Arianna Huffington: SNL's go-to "Uh, we're doing a political sketch, and we need a generic political pundit, so… hey, can anyone do a Huffington impression?" character.

The one thing I thought we were going to see with the return of the car this episode was who was driving it. I mean, that's got to be something that gets brought up at some point, right?

This was easily the funniest part of the episode.

This was arguably the worst episode of the year. The snowflake sketch was decent, but it ended up being the highlight in a very bland night.

It's like Tropic Thunder's advice to "never go full retard."

Yeah, just witness the litany of "I Fucking Love Science" posts that show up on your news feed.

It was like "Flight of the Conchords" minus the funny.

I remember hearing about this.

Fun fact about Canada: No taxes on winnings.

I counted it. C'mon!

If the baby were eaten by walkers, that baby carrier would be far more gory and blood-soaked.

Damn. I posted a comment just above this one that would fit in so well with this discussion.
