The preview for Joe The Barbarian sure looked like weird-for-the-sake-of-weird to me, although from the responses above it sounds like it was intentionally a little muddled. I'll probably pick up the first issue, but it will be one of those cautiously optimistic buys.

Admittedly, my tolerance for Grant Morrison's weird-for-the-sake-of-weird shit is prettly low, but the Joe The Barbarian preview pages they were running in the past few months of Vertigo titles made absolutely no freakin' sense. Did anyone actually see that and think it looked intriguing?
