Speaking of rain, has anyone noticed the incredible amount of sunny weather that Downton experiences?  I think last nite was the first time I ever saw it rain on the village!

I remember, yarons ago, when AOL sponsored the movie "Backdraft" on NBC or somewhere, and at every freaking commercial interruption, when the AOL shill would come on, it was "Well, isn't THIS ex-CIT-ing!  Is Kurt Russel the firebomber?  Will his brother turn him in?"  It was the worst of PBS telethon breaks elevated…

The whole missing heir after a boat sinking instantly reminded me of the final chapters of Jeffrey Archer's latest potboiler "Only Time Will Tell".  Oh, sorry!  SPOILERS!
