This is quite nice.
This is quite nice.
I really liked the Ben/Leslie relationship and still do, but Ben's one of my favourite characters and I sort of miss him interacting with the others! Treat Yo Self 2012 pleease?
Also, does anyone else always say 'good lord' in that Ben way? I noticed he said it this episode the exaact same way as in The Treaty hahha
Not meaning to be rude at all, but I'm sort of embarrassed for you that you shared that with us…
Someone help me out here… what happened to Lily's dad staying with them? I'm not complaining or anything (jesus christ), just can't recall.
Had a nice long Hustle Rose phase. Collect Call's always a nice listen…
Man, I'm gonna go listen to Metric!
It's funny though; the whole time I was just thinking jesus why does he keep proposing, is he crazy? And then when they inevitably decided to break up and I thought what a douche! One minute he's completely in love with her, next he takes it back?
I guess it goes to show that either way Kal Penn just can't win
For some reason Liz realizing she had to apologize to Criss was so hilarious to me.
"It's so coooold"
"Realizations are the worst!"
I'm normally not one to care about logic on shows, but I don't really get why Jim's going to Florida? They seemed to skip from 'Robert wants to see Jim so they can go golfing', to Pam being all 'I think you have to go'.
Good use of the word guffaw
Martin Starr was magnicifent! If not a bit under used…but hey they can always write him back in in the future.
Also, more things that were awesome:
- When Leslie's mom is talking about being 'compatible' with her new boyfriend and Donna does the Tom Haverford face to the camera, hah!
- Some of the traits in effervescent…
I can't say I do…
I think an A is being a little generous, and it's certainly not 'at the
front of the pack' for NBC's Thursday line up. But I enjoyed this episode, and
I'm a Will Arnett fan so fuck it I'll keep watching.
I feel like they say "making out" a lot on the show. Like, it's weird. Are they trying to say have sex or…?
That was very well said! I sort of want Leslie to lose (is that wrong..?) and for what you predicted to happen, personally.
Really enjoyed this episode, I laughed out loud like ten times; I'd say A-
But I agree with @avclub-7c19d1c44130ac0744567cc0dfff23df:disqus about needing a break from the campaign. It feels weird not seeing them interact in the office for three episodes in a row!
P.S. Great cold open.. "Aggressively short almost, it's…
Oh yeah? I didn't know it was that close! Fuckkkk yeahhh I am way too excited for a single scene between Louis CK and Adam Scott…
I really like this season so far! Admittedly not as good as s2 or 3, but you can't really make a decision until you've seen the whole season.
And I found the Leslie/Ben storyline just as compelling as April/Andy's. Maybe even more…I don't know, I think I care about Leslie's happiness more than I do April or Andy's, so…
Definitely agree about the faster pace this show needs. But also, I don't know if it's just me, but I don't really see the 'amazing' chemistry Arnett and Applegate have. They just seem like pretty good friends that are comfortable together.
That's so true. I just got super into Parks over the winter break and the viewing experience is so different watching the show on TV.
I have a friend who doesn't watch for months or something and then watches all the episodes back to back. Seeing as how I have a hard time waiting a week for a new episode I don't think…
I find it sort of interesting, because I've always thought they made Andy and April a little tooo dumb to be believable. I remember that episode in season 3 where Ben moves in and they go shopping for stuff and just thinking how ridiculous they were. I mean come on, it's amazing they're even living on their own!
But…
