Cool beans!
Clearly there is a profound disconnect between Mr. VanDerWerff's tastes and mine, because I would definitely consider this one of the five or so best episodes of Glee, of any season.
I have mixed feelings about Maher, but overall he's a really smart - and really funny - guy. The whole 9/11 coward comment thing was overblown - he was right, but in daring to express such an unpopular opinion he got screwed.
"My Favorite Things" doesn't just mention "packages" but also sleigh bells and snowflakes and white winters. Plus it's one of the greatest songs ever written. And it's in a movie that is frequently played during the holidays. Seem like good enough reasons to me for it to be a Christmas standard. Would you really…

Apparently the author Dennis Christen "wrote, starred in, and produced the award winning feature film Soldiers of Innocence. The film was nominated for two Grand Bell Awards and won the Best New Director."
No, the character is named "Concept Art" - the coming soon is a plot description.
