Actually I think Louis CK was one of the less funny guest stars on Parks and Rec, which, contrary to popular opinion, was great even its first season.

It makes sense in retrospect. He was an asshole to Jews so now he's going to make a movie with a Jewish theme. Knowing his penchant for women-hating, I guess a movie about a beaver is logical.
Good art is sometimes depressing, but never as depressing as bad art.
