If you feel spending 30 dollars or more, you can buy the original as an import, which is what i did last year.  Since copyright laws are different overseas, you can get the unedited version.  Also, my copy came with The Christmas Toy special on it.

Love this band so much.  That's all i have to say!  As I get older, i only seem to enjoy them more.  Those first few minutes of Harcore UFOs sound exactly like Summer feels to me.

i ditched Showtime last season since Dexter was the only reason I paid for it, and Season 5 bummed me out.  Now I'm just keeping up with it through these episode reviews.  It sounds like  It's more fun than actually sitting through it.

What the hell accent is Tom Delonge singing with?  did he make it up?  Is it a new language like the one Sigur Ros use?  Seriously, the way he sings the word "my" ("moey")  is totally perplexing to me.

i was at a show in cleveland last night and totally saw a Dawes flyer at the venue.  It had a quote from Rolling Stone that said they were both "new school folk" and "so authentically vintage."  I stared at it for a long time.

wait, can everybody see that?  I thought it was some personalized software thing, where it just grabbed one of your quotes and stuck it at the bottom of the screen.  Even I thought to myself "man, i've posted since then, it must have just gotten stuck."

love this dude.  He never comes across as an "actor" on the show, which i think is the highest compliment i can give.  I just finished season 3 of Breaking Bad, and HOLY SHIT.  What an awesome show. 

I wish someone would print music reviews like CMJ New Music Monthly did.  I read it in college, and they turned me on to SO much music.  For every review they would show the album cover and give you a RIYL (Recommended If You Like…) and list 4 or 5 bands the album kind of compared to.  It was great.  RIP.

I agree with the above commenter who said this is a good show but rarely ever "Must-see" television for me.  I have a weird feeling about Chalky after this season…last year he was my favorite character…but seeing him with his wife and son and still talking in that voice?  I get a real vibe of Mac from Always Sunny…

What about the Scorpions album Virgin Killer?

I try to give this show a fair shake, but this season totally blew.  Yet i watched every episode.  I guess the joke's on me.  I'll be back for Edgington next year.

I so badly wish they would tour just once more.  Also, someone needs to write a 33 and a 3rd book about Downward is Heavenward.
