The majority of TVD's teenage viewership (I'm including viewers who started watching in their teens and can't let get of the mindset) want Elena to bang both of them, probably at the same time, and form a 3-way relationship as an exercise in audience fantasy-fulfilment. But doing that would just elevate Elena too much

Over importance in NEW Who? He's in EVERY SINGLE STORY of the 3rd Doc's second season.

Would the corresponding The Thick of It / Veep character be Jonah, because that would be both hilarious and awesome?

Classic Who is a lot darker than nu-Who.

The problem is that Moffat is an excellent writer, but a weak showrunner. RTD gave Moffat full creative freedom, because Moffat was his best writer. Moffat seems to let ALL the writers do what they like, resulting in Clara having a completely different personality each week.

Oh FFS, you mean we STILL don't have a dual-lead show starring Mike Chiklis and Dean Norris? Not even Mike Chiklis AS Dean Norris?

You sort of have to answer '..and friends' with that one, don't you. Drinking with just you and Batemen gives off a different implication.

No, sometimes it gets in the hair as well. [/flees the room]

Tucked up away? More like front and centre of the Internet.

Was the Lack of Name referring to the Titular Character?

Also known as 'the NSA watercooler'.

Your wish was already granted a few decades back with Watership Down. Probably holds the record for traumatising the greatest number of small children out of any film.

Can I have a show which slowly reveals its hapless leads to be naively manipulated into watching advertising by putting pretty filler between the ads?

Ah, the genre that told a generation that it was just fine and not at all creepy, illegal or assault-ish to film 'private intimate moments' of others and post them on the web…

Isn't Joffrey technically, if illegitimately, a Baratheon?

I think there's a certain leap that any creative artist has to make if she/he is to sustain it past their 20s and to allow for a full life, and few musicians seem to make it compared to other artforms. At some point you can't keep delving into personal angst and emotion for 'inspiration'. For one thing, as Trent

I'll definitely say it was the best of its genre (one can't really make direct comparisons between MLiR and, say, The Downward Spiral). Chemical World is still probably my favourite 90s brit-pop track.

At least it would explain why none of their plots to conquer/destroy the world ever get off the ground. 'Oh NO - Captain America is about to get pounded by some Hydra version of the Hulk! Wait…it looks like Hydra used Agent Beefcake for the experiment….again. Nevermind, nothing to see here.'

Seems kind of cold for Magneto - usually someone has to at least glare at a mutant in a menacing way before Magneto threatens to blow up the planet.

The Hound has a lot of parallels with Jamie. Jamie buys into the whole 'noble knight' crap at a young age, does the one truly honourable thing in his life when caught in a no-win situation at age 15 (the alternative being to let the mad king burn everyone in KL alive), and is damned for it - so he goes 'fuck honour,
