Pig In The City is one of the most magnificently batshit movies I've ever taken my children to see. Having said that I think they're both pretty wonderful films.

I think I'm in a very small minority (basically my Mum and me) who thought that Maps To The Stars was actually a rather excellent piece of work.

I think you're right, and when people try to recreate it (the terrible God's Pocket being a recent example that springs to mind) it generally looks a bit laboured and rubbish.

I love those super, super hard boiled late 60's-early seventies movies like The Friends Of Eddie Coyle, The Outfit, Prime Cut, Electra Glide In Blue, Charley Varrick and all of those films that my late Dad used to let me view even though I was far to young to watch them.
