She's been taking correspondence courses…

A dead Vin Diesel (in a movie, anyway) is something I can get behind for sure.

Big fan of both of those. Elegy for not taking the easy plot out, and Toys in the Attic for the way there's such an obvious tongue planted in the cheek. It's a scary episode, but it's a FUNNY one.

Really. That's fascinating. Someday I need to look into commentary and special features.

Just as common vernacular. I don't recall the Old Gods having a hell. And I know for a fact she says "Seven Hells" at some point, I believe in the first season of the show, so it would be consistent with her swearing.

Especially after there was some flirty lead-in in season 2 that was completely dropped off a cliff this year.

A.A. Dowd done good for sure.

Why on earth did everyone else get Iron Man first? I'm American, I want it last week!

I read it similarly. She is understanding the gravity of her actions. In freeing these people, she has become something more than a leader to them, setting up the arc that will be complete with the last episode of the season. If you want to know what I mean, look up the title of that one. Says it all.

Ser Dontos was just a character beat for Joffrey and little more.

I never got that impression at all.

I don't think most people would want to be cleansed by blood, but there go those crazy Christians, asking for it from a baby sheep.

There is a song with the following lyrics:

It works out for me in that I wait until they're cheap and buy them for my Kindle. So I spend $1-3 for a portable edition of a book I love.

Can we at least get some Butterbumps in this place?

It sure does.

That is awesome. Duty-free prize moneys!

I was reading an article, i think from Sports on Earth but maybe somewhere else, about how basketball, for a successful team, isa  10-month sport. I used to play basketball after school at 17, 3-5 days a week, 1-2 hours a day, and it was punishing then. Tim Duncan and Kobe Bryant have been playing on successful teams

Yaaaay!

Oh, to watch Deadwood again. I need to do that.
