You're not. I can't see how anybody could call the case "boring". I actually thought it was better than season 1 too, since it dialed down the soap factor a bit.

By what measure are you calling Damages "not creator driven"? I mean, it has three creators, and they've written the vast majority of the show's episodes. What more would be required?

Why did the AV Club give season 4 such good grades then, including a straight A? Is Joshua Alston one of those "good TV involves lots of ACTING in all capital letters" people? Is that why he was/will be/is currently being fired?

I posit that season 4 of Damages is its best season and very good television to boot, despite all the invective Todd is spewing in the comments below.
