High Rise was the better of the books of his i read which included Empire of the Sun and The Day of Creation which was my first book of his. It was ok i only got it because it was only a dollar and i wanted to try him out.

I was wondering when there was going to be a movie based on the book High-Rise. I always felt it would make a good movie. Something to look forward to when it hopefully shows up on Netflix.

Thank god i'm DVRing it so i can fast forward the commercials and any pointless music montage that happens.

It's the CW they can't afford the special effects it would take to make it happen.

I got into it because i like Leonard's books and the dude from Deadwood was the lead.

It was a good last episode better then Breaking Bad's. But i always liked this show better anyways.

Just got a DVR a month ago i like it but a lot of times the show ends abruptly. It is good though for movies though.

I don't see the point of the pre show reviews if all the show's episodes are going to be recapped. Save those for the mini-series and shows that are not going to get regular recaps. It sucks though that Wolf Hall is not going to get the recap treatment.

I would not have minded if they nominated and he won for Magic Mike. All of the nominees that year already have a Oscar plus a sleazy male stripper is role that never gets recognize by the Oscars. Or he could have won for Killer Joe but i seriously doubt the voters ever heard of it.

She just is not a very convincing leading lady. She really was only good in playing manly sort of roles. She played a trans woman In Boys don't Cry which she was great in and deserved her Oscar. Her other Oscar was for playing a boxer.

I get what you men about Matthew if they wanted to give a Oscar to someone who has been doing different roles for decades they should have given it to Leo.

Her being manly looking is probably one of the main reasons her career has not really gone too well despite winning two Oscars.

He can be pretty funny looking in certain scenes in his movies and in person. I really don't get it there are other better looking young british actors out there.

I only finished A Dance with Dragons quickly because i could not renew it. Someone place a hold on it and i will be dammed if i am going to pay overdue fees. I should have just google instead that book was a long mess.

They would loose a lot of viewers if they were to be fateful to the books. For one those two books are not nearly as good as what has become plus do we really need all the new characters taking time away from the ones that we have already.
