I can't remember which spots, but I rewound a couple places several times, just to see reaction shots, or the way somebody delivered a throwaway line. Even the smallest bits are crafted so well.

They could/should submit a tape of every second he is on screen for the Emmy. He is amazing. Also: Return your guest pajamas, your guest toothbrush, etc. That whole scene was gold.
It would be good as a recurring hook-up. They should not go the lovey-dovey route with them both. But Charles getting a GF, and Gina getting jealous could be fun.
Great episode! And if you 'mega-sized' it, or had it go on forever, you'd lose the great quick-jab jokes and punchiness. I know you are being facetious, but we should be thankful that a sitcom exists that can make 30 mins feel like 10, and leave us wanting more of everything. This is a great show. Hope it is doing…
Good point. But Disney animation should be able to do action AND still keep what was original and sweet about this idea. They did it in Tangled. Pixar did it in Incredibles. I'm sure I will like Big Hero, and I like action movies. But I see the point of the reviewer that disney might be treading too close to just…
Nice pins there, toots!
I'm sure they'll both be in a new pilot next spring. They'll keep dropping them into stuff into something clicks.
Too bad. It was a pretty good show, that was getting better. Like I said for A to Z, why do they need to announce so early that it's not getting a back end. Although here they might not even show all the episodes produced. I liked Cho a lot, he should get another comedy pilot off of this one. Gillan too.
Too bad it seems they sacrifice character and story for action movie tropes. Still looks like a fun movie though.
it was the best of times… it was the DURST of times?!?
He brings a knife, you bring a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the MORGUE!
Nah but Penguin had already secured Jim staying alive. Falcone just used Barbara as a way to 'test the honesty' or whatever. And as a way to let them live, which he already planned to do. Barbara ruined the chance to arrest Falcone (which might still have gotten Jim killed, of course).
Penguin had already brokered with Falcone to save Jims life. So the barabra stuff was pointless by the end.
They have laid NO groundwork for her to have anything interesting going on. What a lame character. If she wanted to stay, then stay. Agreeing to leave, and then going right to Falcone was too stupid a move, even for her. They could've found a more interesting way out of that jam. And since we learned immediately…
I think this was the best episode. Actually felt like a show about Gordon and Gotham for the first time. Really like Cobblepot (the actor especially), and the flashback to him asking Jim to be the one who kills him was cool.
Oh Fry… you're so good at - REMEMBERING TWO THINGS.
28 i believe
Probably the closest this show has come to crafting an actual episode of TV. (not that I haven't mostly enjoyed the other episodes). This actually felt like a show about Jim Gordon and Gotham City. Lame to have Barbara come back off screen and screw the plans up. She is such a lame character so far. Penguin and…
Zuh?
I just don't feel any forward momentum this season. And Icky and Abby are always reactionary. They wait for something bad, or for Moloch to make a move, then they react. Shouldn't they have a long-term goal for the season?
