It might be 'backstory' time for some of these characters. "she's lonely, and career/womanhood blah blah blah" isn't a character.

I wish HOT DA had just said "Hey, Maldonado….er, good work" or something like that. We are smart enough to get the idea. Also, she wants respect more than a man, it appears. "You look nice." That was really ham-fisted.
I thought it was pretty fun episode. Definitely Kennex/Dorian is the best part as usual. I liked Dorian/Psychic too. And I liked that there was a 'brain enhancement' surgery that tapped into unused brain function. The 'loopy psychic' is such a trope in crime shows, I like that they treated this one as if they…
I can't help rooting for Daniel and Sara to end up happy together. I buy his love for her, and his remorse for screwing her over after the accident, way more than I ever bought his love for Ems.
One of the few bright spots!
I don't know if they ever really said exactly what happened in the six months between seasons. Ems was trying to drive Victoria crazy. I think Victoria went and hunted down Patrick herself.
Yeah, @avclub-8295e428ce420ab52401e3a18aa8d69c:disqus , good point. I thought the in media res opening was fun and cool to watch. But the other seasons did it as a 'who died'. They pinned themselves in by starting there, then pinned themselves in by having Ems tell the 'Venger Bros that she planned to fake her own…
Carrie - I was so happy when we began the season with "in never want to hear the word "initiative' again". But man, I just feel like this whole thing is a mess at this point. Having the REEEEVENGE predicated on a fake-wedding for the second time has bugged me all season. Daniel has grown up a lot, and I just see no…
Yeah, Charlotte sees that Daniel being in love with Sara days before his big wedding CAUSES HIM PAIN!! She couldn't have guessed that? And why again did Charlotte turn on Ems to begin with? Her terrible acting/writing/character/existence isn't helping the wheel-spinning mess we are in at all.
"there's only one Jack Porter"… well, probably there are thousands, it sounds like a common name. And I don't buy worldly Margeaux and doofy Jack being soul mates at all. Call me a shipper, but Jack/Ems still makes the most sense, if we are needing to hook people up at the end. I understand Aiden/Amanda went…
I just don't like where we've gotten too. She threw a briefcase full of evidence in the ocean, so that she could fake her own death and get Vicky arrested for murder? (without a body!) And Conrad is off without a hitch? Why does she need to marry Daniel in order to pretend Victoria killed her? Couldn't they fake…
Sorry, what the hell is going on anymore? Dammit, I love this show, but let's just end the fucker and be done with it. Why does Emily need to marry Daniel? Why does framing Victoria equal some kind of ultimate revenge? Doesn't Conrad need to pay too? Why does ruining Daniels chances for actually being his own…
ah, yes. i knew it was sad. thanks.
Craig is the one with the blue hat. Clyde has hair and a red jacket. Craig is the super-deadpan one.
who shot Curtis, then? I can't remember so good without me brain medication.
I recognize the sister from Modern Family… who's that other schlub? Couldn't find a photo of EITHER of the stars of this thing, huh?
How depressing was the 'mountain' set? perpetual dim twilight, perfect for singing about how the HILLS ARE ALIIIIIVE !!
and the Curtis time-travel-in-the-club-before-they-are-all-together episode might be the best one ever.

you appear to be right. The whole feeling of their friendship/partnership took several steps back from the Die Hard episode. Like they had broken past some of Kennex disliking Dorian, only to have it emerge again here. I guess it is bad writing/ or bad show-running.
