Yeah, this is looking good.  They immediately got a light-but-believable-in-this-world tone down, and they all seemed to have fun and like each other.  So we pretty much like them off the bat.  Braugher is great, always.

Found Ichabod quite charming indeed.  Best moment was him testing the flashlight beam to see if it maybe would burn his fingers.  Then pointing it at his face and grimacing.

good point.  It is probably hard to tell from within the show, which edit you are getting.  And answering a loaded question (that they don't show the viewer) makes it look like you are just proclaiming something out of nowhere, not being led.
