Same here. American Tabloid is one of my favorite books because it covers the kind of history that's always fascinated me. Cold is good too, but I thought Kemper was a better protagonist than Wayne.

Out of curiosity, did you think the Underworld USA trilogy lost steam?
I mean, I don't want to say we're soul mates or anything, but….
Citizen Hughes, Drosnin's book about Hughes' crazy hermit years…still one of the best books on the subject.
I really enjoyed Anonymous Rex by Eric Garcia.
I just associate you with the column and so I thought it was you before writing my post, no offense to Gwen.

Scrawler, I have missed talking with you, hope you're doing well.
Yeah, and the sort of negativity that's destroyed FB isn't on IG. I kind of hate the people who post nonstop ironic joke jpegs, but that's better than the FB posters who have waited their entire lives to have an audience for their freakshow thoughts.
And I can post whatever I want without some prick saying "HAW, YOU SAW A MOVIE ON A WEEKNIGHT?!?! I guess you aren't too busy with work, huh?"
Oh, Facebook.
Speeder Bike. It'd get old blowing up planets to see if Carrie Fisher's Brit accent slips.
