Sean O'Neal invented this idea years ago but couldn't get the financing together at the time.

"Self mythologist of the highest order"?

Hello again.

It may have actually been the movie they advertised if they didn't need a story arc that included "meet-cute, sweet romance, sad faces, happy reunion".

Harumph, shawty is *clearly* jealous of all the fat stacks my girl making!

Pretty cynical, Beema. Doing things for a paycheck isn't *my* Hollywood.

The commentary is about as enjoyable - but a lot less boozy - than the Boogie Nights one where Julianne Moore is having entirely too much fun.

So, I really want to give this movie a shot, but I'm pretty convinced the romance-less script will shoehorn in a romance, and I'm pretty skeptical.

I didn't think anyone would reply to that comment, so I'm excited that I get to tell someone about this.

Good, I was worried there were too many unqualified morons running for President lately.

It's like this experiment in movie making.

Man, The Cable Guy.

I'm really enjoying this.

I had no idea this existed. Thank you for posting this.

Perfidia was interesting in that it did some new things with Dudley Smith, but I'm waiting for the next one because I assume Perfidia was him shaking off the dust and easing into a big story.

That's a bit funk-ish, it's true.

I used to live with a girl who read the Gormenghast books at least twice a year and she told me that the story was worth a read. I need to get off my ass and read those.
