Eh, there was a hispanic couple with kids as part of the group in the first season, and they left to go their own way as opposed to getting killed. I don't think the show is lacking in diversity. I can't think of many R-rated horror films that feature a more memorable torture scene. You know exactly what she does to the Governor, every step of the way. It just wasn't going to play well on television.
