Robotic Uhura
Correct me if I wrong, I know you will, But wasn't Uhura only pretending to want a robotic body as part of Kirk's plot to foil the androids? She was always as dedicated to the Enterprise as the Captain.

Didn't Star Trek run on Thursdays? It was after Tarzan with Ron Elly. I saw a lot of reruns at 4:30 in the afternoon along with Gillian's Island. Anyway, Thursdays seems to by the correct time for the reviews.
Oh God, our children are out there engaging in empty, meaningless hugs.
I went to high school with a black guy named Adolph. I don't know what was up with that. Nice guy though.
Maybe his parents wanted Hitler to roll over in his grave. If he had one.
Here in Virginia there is a town named Dante. Pronounced as one syllable, long a. Dant
If that were true the baby would be named I'm- never-having-sex-with-you-again.
I don't see 'Ronni marring Archie. That girl is used to living in high style, big house, clothes from Paris. Arch just doesn't have that kind of jack. Reggie maybe.
I was introduced to Vonnegut by the Slaughterhouse 5 movie. I saw it on late night TV and wondered what the hell this was all about. That was a long time ago and I don't remember if the movie was any good. It did have Valerie Perren's boobs. But it got me started on Vonnegut and that's a good thing.
Yes, Star Trek was born as a series and that is the form that best suits it. This is a group of people we should see develop over time, one hour a week. Why was it not developed as a TV series? Are the profits for a movie franchise that much greater?
Curious.
I've been to the Smithsonian a couple of times. I had to see the Dinosaurs, I just had to. The Amazon at the National Zoo is cool. Whenever I'm in DC I go see the 'Nam Memorial. I don't use the word Holy very often, but that's how it feels.
If you are going to drop large iron weights on people they should be marked "16 Tons". That is the correct size.
I'm hoping the Fez will become stylish, but I don't think it's gonna' happen.
@DCRJ, Me too. The idea that there could be a planet killer out there wondering around messed with me as a kid. Part of what made it frighting was it was on automatic, there was no reasoning with this thing. Its a really big fire-and-forget weapon. In the '60s a weapon that could destroy planets was a new and…
Zip, pow, comics aren't for kids any more,
I read Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance not long after seeing A Beautiful Mind and saw some interesting parallels. Basically, Pirsig is nuts.

Back in the day a local UHF station ran Brit coms late at night. Reginald Perrin, Good Neighbors, To the manor born, Two Ronnies, Dave Allen, The Goodies. I remember seeing the same people over and over. it was like the BBC only had half a dozen actors and keep reusing them.
Yes, Its a wonder Spock doesn't have some really freaky health problems. His parents weren't from different races or different species. They were from different biological systems. Do Vulcans have 23 pairs of chromosomes? Do they even use DNA? Do Vulcans have a willie? Spock is more biological unlikely that crossing a…
As long as we're pointing out errors, "favorite all-time episode"? Is that like a favorite part-time episode? I like this episode as well, but an all-time episode sounds like something from Dr Who.
Rumor is that Chris Marlow write a play about the whole shabang. Its what got him killed. Shakespeare told him to steer clear of standing monarchs, but he just wouldn't listen.
