Wow I totally had forgotten about that. Pumped Up Kicks was an odd song choice for adults to do for a battle round last season on The Voice. Really really odd choice to have two little kids to do together.

What mostly killed me watching last night's show was song selection/arrangements. There were just so many songs that had the absolutely worst slowed down/piano accompaniment arrangements I had ever heard. Though the worst had to be the boy and girl doing "What Makes You Beautiful" by One Direction as a duet.…

I will admit that I'm just learning(or just remembering) that they changed the break up of what the judges get this year. It seems like a bit of a knee jerk reaction to a less than compelling competition last year. That said "boys vs. girls vs. older vs. groups" is a much easier to get behind concept than "young vs.…

You mean that's not actually one of their name? I actually had assumed that.

I still think they should do a Challenge seasons where they're tasked to succeed at 9-5 jobs.

I never expected to ever say anything good about Ryan Seacrest but when you look at hosts like Carson Daly and The X Factor host from last season struggle with getting through the live shows on time you find yourself appreciating what he does a bit.

I think X Factor just lacks a distinctive hook for the American audience. For the most part these could have been two American Idol episodes. The fact that they perform in front of a live audience and have backing tracks are fairly negligible differences. And things like the broader age range and group performances…

It did seem like it should owe a little bit to The Terminator. Mostly between it and the scene in the basement with the "electricity" running up the wires I was thinking how bad the special effects were in this episode.

It was stated earlier in the season that a Kanima is simply a werewolf that can't transform because of unresolved issues. Lydia resolved those issues so yes, he is apparently a werewolf. That said, his eyes showed that he might not be completely typical.

Somewhat makes up for there being only four more episodes, though I'd imagine we'll get a "seasonal break" with 12 and 12 episodes as they tend to do with cable shows.
