There are some pretty awful comedians out there. I've seen worse than Nick.

Of course Nick still has to pay for that time. It wouldn't be realistic if he didn't. But I don't think they are going to make an issue out of it as it really isn't an issue. We didn't see that "oh, you still pay even if we didn't have sex" scene in the last episode, right? Doubt they are going to bring it up again…

Bell Media is financing it. Bell Media owns MuchMusic as well as a ton of other TV stations/cable channels. Much Music is probably one of their lessor watched channels and should this show somehow get an increase in viewers, Bell would move it to one of their more important channels.

It is a pretty serious offence to burn down your house. Recently a guy committed suicide after being sentenced to 16 years in jail for burning down his house and trying to claim to insurance that it was an accident.
