Sirius had a whole station devoted to this called The Vault. It was a pretty good station until they bought XM and changed the station to Deep Cuts. Now it's just tolerable but mostly unlistenable. There is a point where you can go too deep.

When i was a kid growing up in the 70's I used to check out all the Carlin and Cosby cassette tapes from the library to listen too at home when I went to bed. Cosby in his prime was the best. He really brought it home that you dont have to0' go blue' to be funny. His bit about Moses and The Great Flood is comedy gold.

My wife keeps Monty Python Sings in the car for long trips. Its a great album. I've listened to it hundreds of times and I still cant quite sing along to Medical Love Song. How much do I love this record? Every mention of Finland at this years Winter Olympics would bring that crazy Michael Palin tune into my head!

My favorite thing (my wife watches these dumb shows) is the replay of audio tapes where they devine words and speech from random static. Much in that same way that I can devine my dogs speaking english from the gutteral sounds they make when i prompt them too.
