I just saw Jurassic Park on the big screen this past weekend, and I have to say: it's aged fantastically, and it's absolutely awesome on the big screen.  I'm honestly a little shocked it isn't on here myself, though it's easy to forget how awesome it really is if you haven't watched it recently, I guess.

I noticed that during all the MorrisonCon coverage.  He clearly idolizes Grant, which is… odd….

As do I. It's surprisingly well-designed, considering how unwieldy the damn thing is.  I'm just getting started on the second arc tonight.

That's my biggest thing - Sandman has been covered to death. I understand why it won, I'm not surprised, but I'd be way more interested in what this community has to say on something a little off the beaten path.

I was pulling for Invisibles or Promethea, but I am neither surprised nor disappointed that it's Sandman.

All the way to the middle.

You really should have stuck with your original plan. I stuck with mine and just watched Broadcast News and I didn't go to bed depressed at all.

One of my all-time favorite ridiculous comic-book quotes was Abe Lincoln saying "Boy, I'm gonna emancipate your teeth," before pulling up his sleeves and beating the everloving fuck out of Hitler.

@LurkyMcLurkerson:disqus  - not in general, but in that particular performance?  He literally put me to sleep.  Maybe he redeemed it in the last 20 minutes, but through most of the time he played a serial murderer turned cannibal cook as a fairly one-note, light performance.  There was no darkness, no creepiness, no
