That change shocked me - and disappointed me; my main goal as a writer was to publish a series with Vertigo - but Image has just been KILLING it this past year.  I don't have any idea how the turnaround happened, but I've been incredibly impressed by it.

SEAGUY (and SEAGUY: SLAVES OF MICKEY EYE) aren't just every bit as dense as some of Morrison's best work (though less narratively tricky), it's also about 100x as much fun.  Laugh-out-loud funny even when it gets incredibly dark, it features some great art and some of Morrison's strongest storytelling overall.
