A lot of people shit-talk the first volume of Sandman, but "A Hope in Hell", "The Sound of Her Wings" and especially "24 Hours", which you just mentioned, are all stone-cold classics… and "24 Hours" is fucking CHILLING.

This was probably the first episode of the series I saw, back in college, and I thought it was so creepy and cool and weird, I just had to hunt down the rest. It may not be the best episode of Justice League, but I remember it being a pretty damn enjoyable one.

I actually gave up on both Worlds' Finest and Earth 2. Worlds' Finest is horribly written, and Perez' art is shockingly weak, while Earth 2 is just blandifying some really neat characters.
