Way late here, but I just wanted to chime in and agree. I love Lenny Bruce and Richard Pryor as much as anyone, but all I really want out of comedy is for it to make me laugh, and Sinbad's always manged to make me chuckle.

And then probably a morass of other sports channels like Fox Soccer, ESPN and NBATV and what not.
That said, he's become a bit more assholic as the years have gone on, similar to, albeit not to the same extent as Peter Griffin. I do wonder if FG caused that in some ways, because the Homer I remember watching pretty much since the movie is a lot less ultimately good-naturedly dumb than the one that was around in…
Much to my surprise, Purchase's list of interesting Alumni is much longer than I thought. When I attended, the answer to the "notable alumni" question went Edie Falco, Stanley Tucci, Wesley Snipes before he went nuts, and Regina Spektor. Who'd have thought we can count Mase as a famous alum?
Good lord yes she was. The only reason I watched an episode of the dreck that is "Rules of Engagement" was because of Patrick Warburton and her.
Cooleyhighharmony is a classic, assuming you don't hate New Jack Swing.
'83. No clue whatsoever.
Wow. That's just…. that's a really great story about a great guy.
Yup.
It just feels so fucking weird for a GI Joe movie , after the toys and the ludicrous cartoon, to be wallowing in "kill em' all" gunfights and violence.

I dunno, I remember seeing Thundercats again for the first time in almost a decade when Cartoon Network brought it back…
Jesus Christ, Dinosaucers. I was OBSESSED with that as a child, absolutely obsessed.
I contend the Abrahamic religions do, in a way, say something is fundamentally WRONG with you, albeit in a different way than Scientology does. I have a hard time seeing Original Sin and the notion of a life in hell if I do not become baptized as something not wrong with me and to be fixed.
R.I.P. Dilla. You are so missed.
I may the only person here who feels this way, but I actually didn't hate either of the American remakes. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone, mind, I just didn't hate them.

@avclub-02c1dd6ad234773aeffd7f7067784d58:disqus Mine too. From my vantage point (NY-metro market), every single one of the four major networks cut into or delayed their normal broadcasting to put on Obama's remarks. ABC, NBC, CBS and FOX.
