I have to disagree here. I feel like Cold and Heat Man are characters out of a cheesy 70s TV show. Nearly every episode involving them (especially the most recent) is corny, cheesy, campy etc.; in other words, 100% the opposite of every episode revolving around Harrison Wells. They are ok for a few light-hearted

WOW. That was good. Goddamn. I have been saying all season that this show's one big Achilles heal is that it has too many Smallville-esque "freak of the week" episodes. When this show discards that formula and focuses on the main plot line like tonight, it REALLY knows how to deliver. This episode had me on the edge

The idea of "moderation" is really lost on this writing staff in regards to the Oliver/Felicity romance. The whole reason the Oliver and Felicity romance thing worked so well last year is because it was much more low-key and subtle, sprinkled lightly in a few episodes here and there. It obviously also helps that

That isn't the issue. What went from a nice and relatively subtle (by comparison to this season at least) romance between two overall likable characters got transformed into a ridiculously overbearing plot point now involving a character (Felicity) that has become extremely grating on the nerves do to how differently

I feel like the fact that this show tends to follow the ol' Smallville "freak of the week" formula to be a detriment to an otherwise great show. It's one thing when the show manages to incorporate the weekly villain into the main plot, like in "Out of Time", but otherwise the story telling needs to be more focused on
