I always forget to submit this…

The book had a very Nick Hornby vibe and was more about Pat's re-integration into society and how he slowly reclaims his life with the help of his family and social circle, with the romance between him and Tiffany being something of a measure of his progress. His mental issues are way more into "some serious shit"

I wish it would have been possible for Malick  to recreate what the New World would have actually looked like at that time. The forests would have held large, old growth trees (not pines) and the James River would have been clear (since all the trees hadn't yet been clear cut for farms) and full of fish. Wild animals

This was filmed near my house. The set, which we snuck onto, was very awesome and much more realistic than the "official" historical Jamestown settlement.

SPOILERS, etc:
I think referring to the ending of the book as a "twist" is a bit misleading since it's not so much a Scooby-Doo "dun-dun-DUN!" moment as it is an unexpected revelation that brings what the book is "About" into sharp focus: ie that a belief in God/a higher power/spirituality/whathaveyou can be entirely

"That’s what Cryer does in his one big scene, where he smokes pot with his wife and then shifts from goofy to melancholy when he tells Bobby that she’s not as hip as she pretends to be"
This scene was totally lost on me. What was supposed to be going on there? I interpreted it as his wife actually *was* hip, but he was

Plenty of local joints, but they are, on average, not as good as Papa Johns. None of the ones that do delivery come close. A few upscale, non-delivery places have better pizzas, certainly. But there are just as many places serving wood-charred matzah with organic goat semen remoulade.

I don't know what you're eating instead, but Papa Johns pizza is awesome! Far better than any other delivery pizza and most regular pizza joints.

When I was little my parents rented Little Shop of Horrors but I was sent to bed before the ending. The next day I asked my dad how it ended and he told me that Rick Moranis kills the plant at the end.

The Iron Giant should have made the list.
