One of my favorite episodes. It really shows the series' strength in taking a seemingly one-dimensional character and giving him or her so much depth. Plus, the episode is just so sad!

I made a lot of "better buy a bullet proof vest" jokes before I started working in Baltimore, but it turned out to be an awesome city.

Thank you for that link! Oh man, that site is awesome!

Andy Daly, or as I know him, "Mr. Bettergooglethat".

Herzog on the Yo La Tengo episode was my favorite!

+1 for "floppy form". I'm going to use that.

Batman R.I.P.? More like Batman W.T.F.! Amarite people?

I never ever got the love for Transmetropolitan. And I mean, I read a lot of it, maybe the first 4 trades? It just felt like a bunch of random, sophomoric joking around without any story or characters. Sorry if it sounds like I'm hating on it (I'm not), I just genuinely want to know what people get out of it.

I'd like an answer to that as well. I read the first Preacher trade and was left decidedly underwhelmed.

YES! Yorick's life in those 60 years seems like such a major bummer.

If what you're saying is, "I prefer fantasy to bad science" then I would agree with you.

*spoilers ahoy*
355's death was worse for me. &'s was sad and painful too, but a) I was already pretty banged up from 355's and b) he actually led an awesome, fulfilling life for a monkey.

I would vote it into the Museum of Fancy Podcasts based solely on the PFT-as-Herzog's discussion with Yo La Tengo about fans who shout out requests.

YES! Thank you so much! You win $5 Internet Dollars!

Please help! What comic am I thinking of?

Replace "Christmas" with "Hannukah" and append a "I would never rip the pages off and saved the old ones in a bed under my box" to get my life story.

It's missing my favorite song from the Muppet Show: Peter Sellers singing Cigarettes and Whiskey (and Wild Wild Women)

Paul Rudd and Ewan McGregor are in a permanent tie for my top mancrush.

The wikipedia plot synopsis for "A Serbian Film" is a lot better now that I added "The Aristocrats!" to the end of it.

> Fond memories of staying up late reading Sleator's books and then staying up the rest of the night because his books wigged me the fuck out.
