I liked Numbers. I refuse to use the weird spelling, but I did like that show. I was rarely able to watch it Fridays (not that I have a life exactly— just small children and general busy-ness) but I did watch it online. And the "math of the day" puzzle was fun.

I was nervous about Smith's Doctor, but I agree completely. He pulls it off, and seems old in just the right way.

True but so are many real candidates. They define themselves as one dimensional, it's hard for writers to resist doing the same. (Perry is so like Ritchie I almost expect to see Sorkin credited after every debate)

Wow Cap Hill blockbuster still exists? Is it just for ironic renting? I can see a mulleted hipster "renting" a "movie" with a wry smirk…

Sort by most likes. Saves me a lot of wading. Of course you have to trust the voters… but you guys are pretty good. Keep up the good work.

Second the Mind Over Matters recommendation. Hilarious book.

Despite the studio meddling, I stand by the movie. Still really funny. And the callbacks during later seasons are fun.

I saw a new side of ToddV. Awesome.

…And three hyphens! Screw you, grammar.

Moore is so much better than his goofy, over-exposed image. He appears so often as a punching bag people forget he's decently funny. And dammit, ham-fisted as his docs are, they make good points. Sometimes cringe-worthy points, sure… but he's talking about real stuff.

I wish this were not as true as it is.

At no point did he threaten you Successful prank interview, Will.

Thumbs up for this feature. Ratings are like some bizarre sociological rant, and I love them.

PKD reference? oneal you wonderful man!!!

Love that you're doing Twilight Zone! Now I gotta get to rewatching…

I love how this review seems to end so abruptly. *Rabin walks out*

Great review. Mostly agree, but I do think Picard's response to the Borg makes sense. A big event, seeing the destruction of the fleet… it triggers him, 24th century PTSD style. Not razor sharp scripting, but very plausible for the story.

WWF, you make my day.

Strange who is/isn't considered a Beat. It gets really shady, with San Fran poets thrown in, NY School, Black Mountain poets…
I loved Corso at 16. Can't read him now. I still love Ginsberg, though most of his sixties stuff makes me cringe. But bless the man.
The best part about many of these poets is they lead into

Does it necessarily follow that the art needs to be good? I liked Tasha's statement about "In the Ghetto," it isn't really a great performance, but it kind of works. I think of horrible treacle like "What Dreams May Come, and how they don't succeed at anything really but you DO understand the characters' pain of loss.
