Just thought I would point out that there's a
Cradock Marine Bank in the background of a season 5 Breaking Bad episode (uh, I forget which one). Possibly other BB episodes as well?

Hey Scott, any chance I could convince you to check out the Japanese cult film Fish Story for this column? It's fantastic - sort of like the thinking person's feel-good film - and it's available on DVD and on Netflix Watch Instant.

I went to India a little over a year ago with friends of my family, a husband and wife pair in their late 40s/early 50s. At one point, the husband and I traveled to his hometown of Surat, a decent-sized city but nothing that attracts a lot of tourist attention, and we went to a local mall for dinner with two of his

I saw Detention last night and loved it. Honestly, this is a case where the movie is so hyperactive that it can take a little while to settle in your system, but I'm pretty sure it's going to be THE cult movie of the last five years.

Makes sense. Surface-wise they're very different, but both feel like Carter decided to ignore the rest of the series and make something that looked and felt like nothing else on television.

I swear I thought that Todd (or possibly Zack?) once wrote in one of these reviews that "Triangle" was his second favorite episode of the show after "Jose Chung." Anyone else remember that or am I going crazy?

That is just you.

The top two picks are fine, but I'm sorry, Pom Poko, Howl and Arrietty are nowhere near the best of what Ghibli was produced.

I don't know if it's my favorite all-around episode, but there are times when I think the ending of "Ruskie Business" is the best thing VM ever did. It bounces so quickly from comedy (the '80s dance) to heartbreak (Veronica watching Duncan get together with Meg and crying in her car) to romance (Leo showing up with

In addition to being really '90s, this movie's soundtrack also has that thing going on where a lot of the song choices are 10 years off, reflecting the filmmaker's age rather than the characters'. While I don't particularly like "Kids in America" for some reason, I'd glad Clueless reintroduced "Tenderness" to
