I watched 15 and 16 last night and it immediately made me sad and annoyed that there won't be new episodes.

I really enjoyed it as well. I came here expecting a horrible Todd review and everyone bagging him out saying he was wrong.

My assumption on that was that it's a fancy party and Lorelai knows her mother will expect a certain standard of dress/presentation. Lorelai is working late and therefore has limited time to get home and achieve said standard of dress/presentation before she needs to drive the half hour to her parents for drinks, but

I haven't had banana on toast, but my mother was quite fond of making banana sandwiches. They're not brilliant, but they're not disgusting.

Does she ever pay for anything?

I only just found the time to start my rewatch and it was so difficult to not launch straight into the next episode. If we went at the pace I want to watch them at, we'd be discussing a season a week.

Gym coaches?
A gym is a building. A man made structure inside which physical education teachers teach physical education to physical education students.

I loathed Ally McBeal in its first few seasons. However, I actually started watching and enjoying it with the arrival of RDJ. He was just a fantastic addition and it was a real shame they had to write him out.

He makes me think of Ghostbusters II.

To some extent the way that Rory continually embraces the Richard and Emily (and then Logan) way of life, despite all that her mother has told her about her own upbringing, really shits me. While she gets a better understanding of what it must have been for Lorelai when she's actually living with her grandparents, I

The one thing I watch Smash for is the incredible original songs. The bits in between songs I could do without.

@avclub-2ee2b21306830e5dca292c37d23cb63d:disqus I know I cried. He's with the stars now.

It's actually been slightly amusing for me to read all the comments about the delay in seasonal episodes. I grew up with American sitcoms starting in February and running through to November, so getting a Christmas episode in July was normal.

She gets shit on in a jokey way, but that's about it. I enjoyed the Britta/Jeff interaction in this episode, but going behind your friend's back and intruding on their first meeting with an absent parent in over 25 years is a pretty dick move.

I liked it the first time around, but I enjoyed it more the second time. It really didn't deserve the CRISIS ALERT-esq review of last week.

Enjoyed the episode, liked Brolin as Winger Sr, but I think Adam Devine was fucking terrible and Willy Jr an utter waste of space as a character. I had thought that if they brought in a half brother for Jeff it'd be someone fairly similar to him but using his powers for evil and not good (like a con man) and have the

Hurrah for a weekly rewatch of GG!

The fast talking thing I get. When I'm with a bunch of my closest friends I can actually notice us talking faster and faster. Maybe not Gilmore speed, but a hell of a lot faster than I'd speak with work colleagues or whatever.

My feelings on the relationship between Lorelai and her parents change so much. When I first used to watch GG as a teenager I was firmly in the Lorelai camp. But when I did an epic rewatch of seasons 1-6 a few months back (I just couldn't do 7), I found myself switching sides a lot.

I didn't mind Dean initially when it seemed like he actually had a brain. But then they dumbed him right down and we got all the jealous Dean storylines.
