I'm not too pessimistic. Wheeler seems legit and Syndergaard is even more highly regarded. 2014 was going to be a punt year, anyway. I hope Harvey just rests up and is available for 2015 and that the Mets add 2-3 bats this and next offseason. Seriously, I think they can be in the playoffs in 2015. I like where

That was my biggest complaint about this. The whole time they're talking to Spano and he seems real and open and honest about what occurred. Not necessarily contrite, but he seemed to at least realize that what he did was insane and wrong.

Nearly all PD-N attempts at humor are painfully contrived.

If you're a hockey fan and/or dislike Gary Bettman, you will at the least take some joy in learning how lazy and careless/unscrupulous they were at vetting potential owners. It's a behind-the-scenes peek that explains a lot.

Oh my! 'A' grades and actual in-depth analysis! Refreshing.

After reading the review, I almost took to the comments to give the standard Kevin McFarland 30 for 30 suggestion ('can we get a reviewer for this series who actually likes sports?'). Then I went back and saw that it was actually P D-N.

It isn't any more insane than the Wilpons situation of being an active participant in the Madoff scandal and even talking money that should be paid out to players and investing themselves deeper into it. It's why they're still paying Bonilla and will be for a long time.

Oh my God, yes. And he didn't even have to leave because he was terrible at his job, it was the sex scandal thing. Steve Phillips was terrible at his job. Although maybe him sitting nightly next to Harold Reynolds and John Kruk made him look average.

I had a lot of trouble trusting the fraudulent, narcissistic, self-serving asswipe throughout this.

It's cliche to say that a band signing to a major label is when you stopped liking them, but good God, 'Sing the Sorrow' was horrible. I wasn't a huge fan of theirs beforehand, but that album was like a switch being thrown and instantly turned me off.

I wish I could upvote this more than once.

'That being said the Jags probably do need to move.'

That's not entirely fair. In 2007-2010, they had at least two RBs healthy at pretty much all times. And I'd actually argue that their playbook has always been rather balanced (they pass far more than they run it).

I'm sort of worried that they'll go all Buffalo Bills on us and win 6-7 games, which would ensure missing the playoffs (which they're going to do, anyway), a middling/shitty draft pick, and probably keep Fewell/Gilbride employed. I don't mind Coughlin, but Gilbride's stale play-calling and Fewell's total ineptitude

Him mad? You're the one who called someone a 'cunt' in this thread for seemingly no reason other than the fact that you don't understand something. I don't know if you're deriving pleasure out of being this way on an internet comment board, but if you are, you should maybe take a step back and ask yourself why.

    It's an 'innie'.

I think Jamm is actually more than aware that he's being a jerk just for the sake of being a jerk. He has pretty much said exactly that on numerous occasions. He had a good thing going until Leslie joined the council and actually wanted to do work above board, rather than the old, sneaky, backdoor ways the council

Isn't the entire town sort of cartoonish? And aren't most of the main characters cartoonish, too? Ron ordering 'all the bacon and eggs you have' is pretty much Dagwood mashing a gigantic sandwich into his face.

Thanks, @Miller! Makes a little more sense now. Plus, with this show, I feel like they've earned the required suspension of disbelief.

    Can it, Larry!
