Is that the one that 'H-h-has The Movies!'?
Is that the one that 'H-h-has The Movies!'?
How is 'Parks & Rec' vs. TBBT even a choice? Even if you miss an episode of TBBT, you can see it a bajillion times in reruns on TBS, FOX, CBS and probably a million other places.
100%?
I sort of hope that no one does Blood Meridian, but Herzog would be a good pick. In my mind's eye, I kind of view a Blood Meridian movie as a blend of Aguirre, Cobra Verde, and Jodorowsky's El Topo.
Throwing this out there, and maybe someone more familiar with rugby can correct me, but the NFL is a different style of sport and the players are a different style of athlete. In the NFL, you've got 250-300 pound guys who are still very fast smashing into each other at full force. Look at James Harrison*. The guy is…
I'd love for this as well. I don't normally place much emphasis on the letter grade when I'm reading a review, but damn if I don't love reading a good old 'F' review.
Maybe the truck was his, and he was throwing fits from being stressed, out there six days a week haulin' Yoo-Hoo.
As a fan of his music, I'm pretty glad that this didn't turn out to be a typical Hatesong, which usually makes me hate the Hater almost immediately, regardless of my prior feelings for them. Interesting, measured, and funny; I like this guy even more now. More of this and much, much less of guys like Drew Magary…
OK, one factual error in that he took over for season 6, which was by far the worst season until 8 came around. But I'm not ignoring Buck's contributions to the earlier seasons. Go back and watch his episodes* or please watch the Writer's Room episode or please read any of his 'post-mortem' interviews for the show.…
The awful decision-making of Showtime in re Dexter began back before Season 5, when they decided to making Scott Fucking Buck, whose writing credits include Nikki, ass-end episodes of Coach, and motherfucking Tremors 4: The Legend Begins, showrunner.
@avclub-104b761215d73eb331cce98b297b3aec:disqus First off, sorry for being kind of pissy to you.
The original comment makes no mention of Hannah being recognized the previous week, which was the gist of my comment. Thanks for not being able to comprehend simple things. You would make for a good Dexter fanatic.
Oh, please do finish it. There's a lot more Dutch/Claudette interplay, which was always some of my favorite stuff in the show, too. It's spot on that you'd hate the Strike Team stuff yet love Dutch and Claudette because D&C were supposed to show how honest police work can get done. Mackey's going nuts all over town,…
Um, no offense, but if you're watching a David Lynch product and 'satisfying closure' is your goal, then maybe you shouldn't be watching it.
The spin-off! Seriously, if it happens, I will be there. I am very masochistic in my TV viewing.
There are so many gimmick and gag posters on this site, and they're sometimes nuanced enough where it's tough to tell what's real and what isn't.
This (aside from Twin Peaks, which somehow did not get mentioned) was my immediate choice. Almost everything that had happened on that show from the absolute beginning came to a head in one hour of glorious television. I love Dutch's response to Ronnie's wondering what he was being arrested for: 'The last three years!'
Why the fuck would Lundy/Matthews put Dexter in charge of analyzing the blood slides? They said something like, 'I figure you have more motivation than most to see Doakes brought to justice'.
once, twice, three times AHHHHHHHH
