And Malachi Throne who played PM Malachi passed a couple of weeks ago.

Yes, Sally Jessy. She of the red spectacles. Quite a big RPDR fan apparently, and they've shouted out to her a few times in the bumpers between commercials.

Just had a scary thought. The next professor on Drag U - Coco Montrese!

The slutty puppet talking about hiding the kielbasa was also a nice touch.

Coco could've gone up against Rip Taylor in the LSfYL and been sent home. It was time. Detox was just there to fill a spot.

I'm sure they were prompted to do so by the production team, but the degree and speed with which BethAdone and HotChocolate turned shady was startling. I kept waiting for the big "oh, but we all love each other" laugh but it never came.

"…but at least she didn’t do Aaron’s makeup with a Sharpie and what appears to be some sort of Velveeta-based foundation."

A thought just struck me in the shower. This episode makes a big deal out of the leaf being a very sentimental object of Clara and then she ends up giving it up. The Doctor makes a big deal out of NOT wanting to give up his sonic. In fact he seems to be spending a lot of time recently talking about how much he loves

Yeah, the translation thing threw me too. You may be on to something. Either Clara's some evil Great Intelligence automaton -or- she's some Captain Jack like paradox that really gets Sexy's temporal panties in a knot.

Because it wasn't pointed out to it. Duh? ;-)

My takeaway from that was that they filmed Ru's catty intros and segues to Untucked there. I have to believe the contestant portions are right off the stage.

And once again Moffat is mirroring past episodes. Season 5 was all about a companion being told to remember. Now it's the Doc's turn.

In The Snowmen, the Great Intelligence infects the wee lad in school and controls him until he's late middle age. A seemingly parallel development here.

I can see that, but my take is that Jinx came in as more of a complete package. Yes her makeup and runway look has changed for the glammer (screw you spellcheck, that is now a word), but to me that's more of a conscious effort to shut Michelle up than anything.

I like Roxxxy, but I don't feel we know much about her yet. Maybe that's because she goes far so they are holding onto her backstory for later. But she seems content to sit back and let the others fight - or at least that's how the editing plays out. Who knows what's truth and what is narrative license.

This week was interesting. Last week I was totally in love with Roxxxy, couldn't stand Detox or Alyssa, and hated Serena (natch). This week I barely noticed Roxxxy, actually started to like Detox and Alyssa, and of course wished a speedy exit to El ChaCha.

No love for See A Little Light by Bob Mould? I thought it was a great tale of drive and survival, with no attempt at whitewashing the author's own faults.
