Seriously, Adventure Time is one of the most intelligent series on air. It just has so many layers and mature themes. Sometimes the themes are dark and fucked up, but other times, like in this one, they're sweet—and fucked up, natch.

Just a lot of Tenzion in the air.

There's this rumor going around that you're Tenzin.

The airbending kids deserved a mention. That was pretty amazing. Big Damn Heroes, I tell ya.

I almost forgot about that random Red Riding Hood allegory.

I always suspected that sequence in the fairy world was edited with iMovie.

Oddly, I'm glad to hear the show gets really awful.

The opening scene with Sookie, Lafayette, Tara, and Pam was so hastily, clumsily written. Same goes for the concurring Eric and Bill scene. I'm starting to think vampire superspeed robs scenes of momentum if most of the action happens in the blink of an eye. Notice how vamp-speed was in both sequences.

I feel strangely perverted for really digging Frank Miller's All-Star Batman & Robin. That and Strikes Again are the craziest and most unrestrained I've had my Frank Miller outside of the stuff he created himself (e.g., Sin City), but the former really worked for me. It's a guilty pleasure.
