I think SBC and HBC really could have worked, but their characters, while minor, were executed so poorly by the movie. Excellent point about Beggars at the Feast - while it sort of can work as a bit of irony as portrayed in the movie, it belies the point of the song/lyrics (and the characters too!) to have them…

Interesting - for me, Bring Him Home, despite the fact that it's a great song, always seemed out of place for me. I find it sounds nothing like the other music (it was one of the pieces added when the concept album got fleshed out…and translated), and as good as the falsetto aspect is, it never ceases to take me out…
