It's raining…..water?

So did this internet debate solve the Palestinian crisis?

So did this internet debate solve the Palestinian crisis?

A minor quibble but….
"Curtis Armstrong's "Booger," still the gold standard by which all disgusting slobs are judged"

Wow
That was easily the most pretentious comment I've ever read.

"Why did my vision contain a story about Marge and Homer finding Lincoln's gold?"
It's an awful episode of the Simpsons but the one where the above line comes from is kind of relevant here. For those who forget Bart is shown a vision of his future and there is the mentioned subplot. It makes sense for the episode but

Please
Could 10 more people include how they forgot Kazaam. Yes, Shaquille O'Neal made a lousy movie about a genie. HI-larious!

Sure it's masturbation….
But who doesn't like to masturbate?

Double Standard v2.0
Isn't it funny, though, that when the discussion is about the genre itself so much of what is mentioned as being modern Hip-Hop is stuff like Nas, Jay-Z. Eminem and so on but when it turns into an examination of the genre of rock, all of a sudden we're talking about the cream of the

Jumping on the Diggstown Express
I'm totally with people on this one. Great performances, decent boxing scenes and one of the best endings of any sports movie.

It's How I Met Your Mother's Joke. I just re-positioned it.

Re: babason
Thanks again for the clarification. I understand what you're saying but couldn't a TV show decide "Wow, they're getting really good ratings with 'To Catch A Predator' maybe we could do 'Cleaning Up the Streets' and bust drug dealers. They show up with cash and we nab them!"

To rip off How I Met Your Mother
"I was going to watch Grey's Anatomy but I remembered I had this thing and couldn't"

Re: The Definition of Legal Impossibility
Thanks for clearing that up. It's something I've always wondered as well.

It was a joke, more or less
Although I was interjecting race into a discussion all of a sudden.

Not to be all Michael Richards-y
But it does strike me that a lot of the critically reviled flicks that do really well at the box office are movies(Stomp the Yard being the most recent example) that are aimed at the african american community. I wonder why that is?

A joke?
No. I firmly believe all metalheads are functional illiterates. It's a growing problem that the government continues to ignore despite years of warning signs. Write your MP.

Also the real me
Like I said, and it maybe unfair to someone who is relatively new to the AVclub like Aaron is(I think), is that if the somewhat over the top reaction to a positive review of a FOB is any indication that most of the people reading and commenting here are NPR rock types. It's unfortunate that the

Reviews like this should have a disclaimer.
It's unfair to say that this review puts the reviewers credibility into question but I think that when you're reviewing a band that is fairly universally dismissed by most people you have to say whether or not you liked their earlier output.

The glory that is Apex
I bought a 27 inch Apex TV as soon as I got out of University and, much to my delight, they threw in an Apex DVD player on top of it. Both are still working beautifully. At the time I was told that Apex was Best Buy's house brand or something. Not sure if that's true though.
