Friends wasn't exactly on fire by Season 9 either, and its the most previous show to pull Big Bang numbers. Although the writers seem proud of themselves for going through with the Main Couple eloping and not dragging it out like Ross & Rachel. That said I'm 75% sure the season will end with a Sheldon/Amy Big Wedding.

Between all the Bell Channel (Comedy Network and various CTVs across the country), CBS, Fox, and smaller cable channel reruns I honestly think Big Bang comes on over 200 times a week. A current network sitcom that can reach that level of repeat is going to do well in ratings for its new episodes. Comedy Network is

They have hid it since the start. People from Toronto pick up on it easily but almost every episode thread someone asks where it is supposed to be.

Haven't read any of Phonogram. I only got the 1st trade of WicDiv on impulse at a bookstore because of Black Friday. Ordered the 2nd volume from my shop and read it last week. Waiting for the 3rd in Feb, I heard the individual issues are done until April?

Yeah, you missed my "hung up" pun.

The only one who doesn't seem to be running some level of con is Havelock, who didn't seem to get hung up on the politics of Ceres.

Yeah, most restaurants are closed obviously leaving anyone who doesn't want to cook with only 1 option since Christmas isn't really a Chinese holiday, so they make a huge profit this time of year.

I only get it on Christmas Day since the other side of my family is too scattered to get together. Still don't particularly care for it at any time of the year.

Tip: Check out The Wicked + The Divine, the ending of the 2nd trade made me flip out. (3rd trade is out early February) As a whole its a very unique concept good look at fandom, mob mentality, fame and social media with extra mythology to look up if you are interested enough to do the work.

You might want to order in advance, especially if it's take out, we tried once on New Years, 3 hour wait.

If your counting traders as individual books then that inflates my number too. I think I've done like 6 'books' of Synder's Batman run alone.

Everyone I get gifts from knows I'm a big reader so I',m probably getting $100-$150's worth if bookstore gift cards. I may pick up The Expanse books after the first season is over. I have some time between Christmas & New Years so I might read The Girl Caught in the Spider's Web, not sue how I feel about the publisher

Finally made some progress in a job search, two weeks or so of little classes in January which I get paid for, and then a transfer to a real job.

Never read the books o I can't really say. Though if he's been with the Belters for years I assume his not on great terms with them anymore.

US co productions are common. This and Dark Matter are space shows so a lack of location makes sense. Orphan Black is set in the real world and cannot directly say it's in Toronto, creating the same setting debate in almost every comment thread.

Thanks. Sort of a new version of Hicks then.

The advantage of filming in Canada when the loonie is crap, as well as having plenty of local crew members used to filming genre shows.

I thought they were saying he bounced around the equivalent to the foster system or something, they said Miller was probably a child of the state growing up so he got bad/cheap bone injections.

So…Holden was some kind of super test-tube baby?

I'd say Ari Millen gets under-appreciated too. He came in after Tatiana which is major pressure to begin with and he can't really differentiate his clones with make-up and accents like she does. And they were raised together as military so their supposed to be similar but he still managed to make them each feel
