It'd probably be a decent ending though it depends on who he's sitting with. If it were Jeremy and Spencer I'd expect a close vote. If it were Abi and Kimmi then an obvious blow-out.

True, though it can be a bigger problem in the pre-merge if the smaller people band together to target the alphas.
Partly the Voting Bloc theme saved Spencer from being targeted but also Jeremy for screwing up the plan of the majority. On any other season playing an idol like that means you and the buddy you saved are the priority to be split.
It's been gone for a few years now. Jeff always hated it.
Difference is Joe's cast is full of enough people with strength (Keith) strategy (Jeremy) or smarts (Spencer) to take him out. Mike didn't start winning until he was the lst one of his side left. Joe went on a streak too early.
If Wentworth had played it for Joe we could have gone nuclear and have Jeremy play his other one for Fishbach sending Abi to jury. That would have been as good as Malcom's Double Idol play but what we really got was still good.
He not so great with balance tasks but does decent in strength/puzzle/mind ones. If Joe was gone early then he or Keith would be seen as the challenge beast. Keith has remarkable balance/endurance power.
He a muscly fire fighter who knew he needed to align with other big guys to deflect attention off himself. He does decently in most challenges it's just people like Joe outshine him.
Joe does have a degree of social game in him as tonight proved. Against a Keith, Kimmi, Abi and maybe a Tasha it would work but based on edit that won't happen.
He unwrapped it and it was gold so he was right.
They would give it to Joe if he went on a Mike/Boston Rob streak where it was totally clear he had to win or go with only a few people left. He has a social game too as tonight proved.
You forgot Kimmi just like the edit…
We kind of had that one Joe's season with Mike. It kind of deflates some of the tension at the finale though since a challenge run like that is guaranteed a handful of votes. Boston Rob and Kim from One World too.
The Reward Curse started Stephen's downfall but Advantage fear did him in.
I haven't freeze framed it myself. Some say based on the shot of the challenge it looked like it could be in Joe's colored area?
Oh true. Though it would have been epic if he could have shown her "Val's Idol."
If Joe made it I could se Fishbatch maybe respecting the challenge run or Spencer's smarts, but Jeremy has a mix of both being clever and a physical threat.
True, I suppose the producers might have done Jeremy/Kelly's Night Idols in that season but we just see this first for one thing.
That's what I though too. I wonder if we'll see Wes, Val and Dale since their loved ones are all still in the game? Which is actually impressive 3 people from the same season made it this far.
True, though the irony would fit perfectly with Joe. Based on edit Keith and Kimmi won't win and Abi might get dragged to the end but socially sucks.
