Amazing Race Canada tonight is called "Who Is Alex Trebeck?" In his hometown of Sudbury. We might even get a cemeo since the show is so popular here, 10% of our population watches it *live*.

Did that in Drew's show too sometimes.
They still rely too much on guests in the majority of the episodes which limits the games they play to Helping Hands/Living Scenery/Dubbing/Duet/Song Styles. But the guests have gotten somewhat better this year. Scott Porter got into it, and Kathie Lee gave us something I'm surprised they let air: https://www.youtube.…
Agree although they have gotten somewhat better this year about participating. Scott Porter loved it.
Next week is some model but two weeks is another no guest!
Exactly. We have like 10 actors that stay in Toronto so you know what is filmed here. Anyone whose serious about behind or in front of the camera usually goes to LA or NYC
Amazing Race Canada on Wednesday is literally called "Who is Alex Trebek?", taking place in his hometown of Sudbury. I assume we'll even get a cameo since the Race is insanely popular here. 10% of our population watches it *Live* so advertisers pay CTV tons of cash for awkward product placement.
He does well enough. Of the actual improv people the CW version has they are all pretty strong. It's mostly held back by the insistence on special guests, and almost no audience games anymore (unless the performers go into the audience themselves and pull someone as support for their character in a group game). Ari Millen does as well. He and Tatiana actually met as teenagers through improv. Canadian acting scene can do that.
The guests aren't always CW actors. I've seen every episode of this incarnation, they can also be a TV star with a decently popular show on another network, a sports star or some kind of other TV personality like Kathie Lee. Which actually created something I'm surprised they let air: https://www.youtube.com/wat…
FYI in case you miss your Canuck host, Wednesday's upcoming episode of The Amazing Race Canada is called "Who Is Alex Trebek" taking place in his hometown of Sudbury. With the show being insanely popular here we might even get a cameo appearance.
Heh. Comics are monthly while the movie/TV stuff is a lot slower. They comic writers just have to react sometimes. Some are hoping the FF movie failing and Fox wanting an X-Men show they need Marvel's approval for, FF can join the MCU soon.
Everything I have seen about the new season is says she is accepting her birth name. Doesn't need Skye anymore since she finally found out where she is from
Officially her name in the show is Daisy. The writers have a jar to put a dollar in if you call her Skye. It has over $200 dollars and they aren't even done half the season yet.
Chameleon should be possible in the MCU now if they want since Marvel/Sony are playing nice now. Fans are hoping the FF film getting thrashed will mean Fox will give them back to Marvel, especially since they need Marvel's Ok to do th X-Men TV show they want.
Last I heard she and Dottie were still in negotiations. Sousa and Thompson are locked in.
Kate Mara wanted to read dome of the comics to prep for the role but Trank told her it'd be a waste of time as the movie isn't really based on any FF story. From what I've read their powers are treated mostly as "gritty" body-horror, so a lot of what they said was true, they are just now realizing how bad it is.
Hickman does love FF so maybe.
Sabrina and Ope just don't seem to have the physical power needed on the Race. I think Sukhi and Jinder were whiny last year but this year it seems more prevalent with Nic & Sabrina because of how lucky they've been in the last 3 episodes.
This makes 3 teams to have chosen Penalties so far this season, not counting Nic & Sabrina apparently getting one at the horse task which wasn't really there fault since it was just too dark to ride.
