Didn't someone from Bell also claim we should pull US networks from our airwaves leaving us no option but to watch the ones they own? I'll take things that will never, ever happen no matter how big the company is, for $500 Alex.

Aren't our cell phone bills some of the highest in the world? Of the long list of overpriced things, I'd start there.
Actually, they recently made some decisions that are surprisingly better for the average people. Starting 2017 Canadian channels won't be allowed to simsub ads during the Superbowl because it sometimes makes us miss part of the play and people want to see the US ones as they happen. Bell says they would lose a lot of…
Well, at least it's predicable in a way. Of course you could argue cable is desperate to keep anything with a pulse so they could cause major problems creatively. As a fan I gotta worry about that with Orphan Black. It's the gem of Canadian TV right now but I worry it could be dragged out too long.
It's already up in Canada, Bell's CraveTV has it and hyped it up when they announced it. Although for some reason Amazon doesn't like us as there is no streaming up here from them. So, their police drama Bosch ended up on CraveTV while Transparent went to their competitor Shomi from Rogers & Shaw.
So The CW's basically renewed all of it's lineup except HoD right? Isn't that a bit unusual this early, even if it's a small network? For Fridays, Whose Line comes back next month so they may just run two episodes of it at 9:00. It's low budget and does solidly enough for them so it doesn't really matter when it airs.…
Meh. It was a predictable episode once their was no big equalizer, and the Speed Bump seemed like more of a challenge then the detours, weaving isn't easy. I did like the differences between detours and while it is nice to see the teams experience local culture, I found the detour tasks mostly boring. Although it was…
Rick Mercer does pretty well usually. We've actually gotten some pretty good rulings from an average person's POV recently. Better net neutrality protection, banning of simsub on Superbowl ads that sometimes make us miss part of the play, and recently it sounds like the TV companies that are trying to compete with…
Psst! What is the clone show?
They could also show any one of Bernadette's apparently many siblings (we've meet both her parents already). Or another of Raj's siblings besides Priya, or Amy's father. (Saw her mother in one scene via web chat).
Just following up from yesterday, it looks like specialty channels will all have a 35% daily CanCon requirement I assume they'd meet that by airing reruns in the less important hours like the early morning. Local channels only have to do 50% of CanCon from 6 PM-11 PM, but most of this is already done by the news.
Taping reports of episodes are available online so fans who want too have been reading summaries in advance for a long time now. They are two episodes ahead of where the schedule is right now. It's off the schedule for the next two weeks though.
Well, they did announce a role for Matt Bennett who could become a reoccurring character from the sounds of it.
I honestly have no idea. I don't work in TV, I 'm just a fan who follows the news and tries to figure out how it works. I would guess local shows like The Social and such would still keep going as nobody wants us to become a complete US daytime network. I'm just hoping we can get some variety of reruns and hoping this…
The daytime requirements for CanCon is now 0%. So I assume no more of the same Just For Laughs repeat 3 times a day. They also got rid of genre protection. So I assume this will make it easier for some channels to get a variety of programming up. But we may get more cheap reality shows out of this.
Have a good vacation!
Make sense. Given the fact the movie is years away it looks like their would be some split between Black Bolt etc., and whoever we see here. Maybe the Royals left Earth or something while Eyeless and his friends have space tech to hide themselves from the Kree? Skye and Raina were transformed by the Diviner that Hydra…
This whole dating aspect of The US Amazing Race this year has me reflecting on how good our version was last summer. CTV must be itching for it to be summer has it kills everything in the ratings. Hope we get another good batch this year!
I thought their was one couple buying into it, didn't one of the women say she and the guy picked out each others underwear? Since the Date Night is a reoccurring thing we'll probably be seeing most if not all the Pit Stops.
I figured it was NEL after that one couple got engaged. (I wonder if the show will change the caption under their names now?) The episode also lacked suspense because Team New Kid on the Block was almost 10 hours behind everyone else. The Date Night and selfie thing is still stupid although it was nice of the blonde…
