Yes but as far as the Thompson and Peggy know, it was a real surrender. So far nothing conflicts with Thompson's story.

They didn't, he was bending over Thompson's S.O. probably to wake him up to surrender. Thompson woke up and just assumed the Japenese wanted to kill them.
Yes, so are Beth and Mrs.s S's drivers licenses and Alison lives in Scarborough, Felix refers to it as Scarbria, and Wikipedia has a paragraph on it's Toronto references. Plus last season at Alison's rehab you could assume Family Day is a reference to the long weekend in the province.
Other then the train announcer in the opening scene, everything else Orphan Black does to hint at a place points to it being in Toronto, they just aren't allowed to directly say it on the show.
Animated networks are much the same I'm afraid. We know about how Legend of Korra was treated. Before that, the people in charge of the toy department apparently believed Avatar the Last Airbender was only a show for boys so their is like 5 official Aang action figures and 3 Zuko's and Sokka's, but not a single…
True, but they haven't referenced it outside that one episode so far. She was in the prom episode and liked Amy last season before she dated Raj. I don't think anyone else has a problem with her.
Assuming they are comedies. Anything with a dramatic focus, please join Green Lantern, Beware the Batman and Young Justice in the graveyard.
Don't forget Korra!
They may have already hit the limit for main cast. They can barley fit all 7 in the shot for living room scenes as it is. Plus they just negotiated new contracts for the main actors anyway.
I also hate the balloon noise. A couple of knocking jokes and Soft Kitty also brought familiarity with the past to the show.
And yet we couldn't get the Cloneversation Special up here to promote Orphan Black S2. Instead I turn on Space Channel to see a random movie instead. Gee, a show made here with mostly actors from here that won a Peabody Award…no need to air a special the States is making for it!
The CW version doesn't have as much singing but the bane of it has to be the "Special Guests" in like 85% of the episodes now. But it did give us moments like this:https://www.youtube.com/wat…
Doesn't always work though. We still get the joy of American attack ads every once in a while during any election.
I caught a repeat of an episode called Don't Worry It's His Sister". I was actually fairly amusing and I can see why the orphan Black creators have talked about the idea Catherine O'Hara to play Alison's mother.
If they have to start showing more Canadian content I'd imagine Brent Butt is going to get a call for another Corner Gas movie if not a series revival.
Well, she and the show have swept the Canadian Screen Awards. She and Jordan are up again this year as well as several of the writers/crew. As small as North Hollywood is she's well known here.
Opening scene of the entire show: https://www.youtube.com/wat…
I just did a quick Google search. He's a reoccurring character Anthony Foyle a suitor of Mary.
If your serious you honestly need to watch it from the start to understand anything. Each episode follows directly on from the last one.
Her boyfriend of 3/4 years, Tom Cullen from Downtown Abbey.
