It gets more confusing when you try and compare the surge of comic book related media to the fact that anime is still considered "genre" and nerdy. Superheroes based on comics are pretty much mainstream now. Anime is usually based on manga, Japanese comics. Some of this is tonal between Eastern and Western cultures

Disagree on genre being procedural. Procedural to me means generic cop/lawyer shows that go after a generic killer almost all the episodes. Ignoring the legal inaccuracies which also irritate me, I can't feel connected to a show that is essentially catching different generic killers each episode because the main

What's your take on procedural shows? I love sci-fi/fantasy but can't stand procedurals for some of the reasons you don't like genre. OB is filmed in Toronto with mostly Canadian actors and is shared by Space Channel up here and BBC America in the States. The main plot itself also takes place in Toronto but the writers aren't allowed to directly state that as the theory is placing it in Canada would alienate US viewers and placing in the the States

It's still a Saturday. Up here CTV airs its reruns which is about as high profile a sci-fi show can get. It'll be fine.

April 18th is a Saturday. All the episodes last season posted higher ratings then the Season 1 episodes. It's BBCA second highest rated show behind only Doctor Who. In Canada CTV airs reruns of it and it won a lot of awards up here. It's not in danger of being cancelled y low ratings.

It's still a Saturday according to my calendar.

It stumbled a bit while trying to expand itself but most of the clone arcs were pretty strong imo.

Don't forget she'll probably get a canon comic at some point to continue her adventures just like Aang is to this day.

Go back! As you can see the love triangle is not an issue in Books 3 and 4. And their is a new baddie that rivals Azula for the Best Villain in the Franchise crown.

Felix says Scarbria is episode 2 when Sarah first goes to Alison's house. Alison says the proper name in episode 8 while drunkenly meeting Mrs. S.

Oh, It's been a while since I've been on those pages is all.

Glad you liked it. It plays like 3 times a day up here on our Comedy Network, more if you have satellite. There are certain rules for how much content on TV has to be Canadian. The show itself tackled the Americanization thing in an episode. Check out the American Resolution.

Comedy Network is showing a mini marathon of Corner Gas today with Corner Gas The Movie at 8:00 PM.
